The Company
Lost In Translation Circus was formed by Massimiliano Rossetti and Tiago Fonesca in 2008 during their time at Circus Space in London, the company toured around the UK and Europe with a focus on acrobatics and comedy for several years.
In 2011 the company transformed and is now run by Massimiliano and Annabel Carberry and has expanded into full-length circus shows. Primarily based in the UK, the company also has a training base in Belgium and strong links to Italy and Australia.
We are a company that looks for international and cross cultural collaborations. We have a strong interest in making connections between people and across organisations.
Last year the company had an exciting year with the beginning of several projects coming into realisation with a reconnaissance trip to the USA for Circus Express in September/October and a showcase for the first stage of development for La Balade De Bergerac at Circus Futures in Bristol on December 1st.
This year we look forward to the development of a performance ready La Balade and its first forays onto the street, to continuing the development of the Circus Express concept and another possible reconnaissance trip this time to the west coast, and a winter training program for the Flying Cloud.
